Overview of the Blogging Schedule You Need to Follow You
either have to write postings of new content or rewrite other content
you find on blogs or articles. First thing is if you have a long 1500
word article, you can split up the articles into smaller postings of
400 words each. Rewrite any other content a little so you are not
penalized for duplicate content. There are just a few rules to follow
inside your postings which we'll cover below. For the most part, in an
overall sense, just jnclude links to your main domain in your blog
template and sprinkle the blog postings with keyword rich links to
specific internal web pages on your site.
To better market your
product, it's a good idea to put a link to one of your products within
your blog posts. However, if your blog has many outgoing links to your
product pages it may cause a problem. Therefore, it's a good idea to
have just one link per day to one of your products from within your
blog postings.
In terms of how to write a post, the guidelines
are pretty simple. Use the keywords in the title and in the first
paragraph of your posting. For example, when creating a title use
something like this "managing the perfect shopping cart system
Learn how to Run An Ecommerce Store In 3 Easy Steps". Then use the
keyword "managing the perfect shopping cart system" in the first
paragraph of your post.
Timetable: Day 10 and ongoing according to your personal capability
BLOG POSTING SCHEDULE
You can follow this brief overview or print the day-by-day full SEO timetable which also includes the blogging schedule.
On Day 1 through 14 (and this includes Saturday and Sunday):
- Post 5 times per day with the following conditions:
- Use
any combination of your secondary keyword in the title of your blog. An
example is "an update on recent shopping cart software discount deals"
or "shopping cart software, are discount deals available". The point is
not that your secondary keywords show up in a particular order in the
blog title, but mostly that they just show up. It is actually good to
add in some fluff so the postings look a little different each time.
- Put your primary or secondary keyword anywhere in the first paragraph of your post.
- Make sure the length of each blog post is between 300-600 words.
On Day 15 though 35:
- Post 3 times a day with 300-650 words per posting.
- Continue to use your secondary keyword within your blog title and posts.
Day 36 though 50:
- Post 2 times a day with 300-650 words again per posting.
- Check
your Google ranking for your secondary keyword. If your site is listed
for the top 5, then change your post "title" strategy now to start
blogging with your primary keyword instead of the secondary keyword.
- For software to check keyword rankings
Day 50 and moving forwards: Post once per day and
take a break sometimes between days. However, it's probably a good idea
to use your secondary keywords in some of your posts thoughout the
week. If you are going to write 7 blogs within a week, then 2 should be
focused around your secondary keywords.
