Title of Each Web Page

Title of Each Web Page
Overview of the Title Tag:
The title <title> tag of a web page accomplishes two tasks. It determines what is displayed in the browser itself (usually in the blue section at the top of your browser if you have the default browser skin). Though the title is not displayed on the web page itself, search engines often start their algorithms with the content of the title tag. Therefore it is of paramount importance to structure your title tag appropriately so it achieves maximum effectiveness in your SEO efforts.

Timetable: Day 2 (Learn about it), Day 3-8 (Apply it)

You want to format the title of every web page with a bit of variation from the primary keyword you are targeting on that page. I suggest trying a combination of the 3 keywords paraphrased. (eg. )

Use different page titles  for every page you create.
  • Work out the keywords and phrases for each page individually.
  • Add a unique and very relevant title to the page.
  • Try to include as many of that page's "primary" keywords.
  • Don't go overboard on keywords.
  • Keyword density should be 3-5% of the total page content.
Example: On each individual page of your website you will paraphrase the 3 keywords in the title tag. For example, on an internal page if your 3 keyword phrases were: Shopping Cart Software, Online Ecommerce Software, & Cheap Shopping Cart Software, your title might read "Shopping Cart Software Cheap Ecommerce Online". Remember to combine multiple variations of keywords with extra terms on every page of your site. This will help you compete for hundreds of keywords throughout the search engines.
